Refund and cancellation terms
Last updated 18 August 2026
Eligibility
These terms apply to invoices issued by Sourcevectorgrid for Pulse Audits, Cartographer Seats, Observatory Residencies, and shorter rooms. The website does not take payment, so a refund always refers to a paid invoice, not to a form submission.
Timeframe
You may cancel for a full refund if we receive written notice at info@sourcevectorgrid.digital at least 14 clear days before the programme start date stated on the invoice. Between 13 days and 48 hours before start, a 50% refund applies. Inside 48 hours of start, fees are non-refundable except where we cancel or where the law requires otherwise.
Full or partial refund
A full refund returns the programme fee you paid, excluding any bank charges we cannot recover. A partial refund is 50% of that fee as described above. If we have already delivered a Pulse Audit call, that Audit is treated as delivered work and is not refunded; unused studio weeks on a combined booking may still be considered case by case.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs you incurred (travel to Cairnbeathie, software licences, your own contractors) are never refunded by us. Printed packs already posted are not refunded. Removal from a cohort for breach of the terms of enrolment (harassment, unauthorised recording) is not a refund event.
If we cancel
If Sourcevectorgrid cancels a cohort, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date at the same fee. We will not keep the money “as credit” unless you ask us to.
Refund process and timing
Write to info@sourcevectorgrid.digital with the invoice number and whether you want a refund or a transfer. We confirm receipt within two working days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days of confirmation.
Refund method
We return funds by the same method used to pay the invoice (bank transfer or card, as applicable). We do not refund in cash or in unused “credits” unless you request a transfer instead of money.
Cancellation by you during a live programme
Once week one has been taught, leaving early does not reopen a full refund. We may, at our discretion, offer a later Cartographer Seat if illness or bereavement interrupts attendance; that is goodwill, not an entitlement.
Exceptions
Statutory rights under United Kingdom consumer law remain. If you enrolled as a consumer at a distance, any cooling-off right that applies will be honoured and sits alongside the 14-day studio window, whichever is more generous in your case. Companies booking seats are not consumers. Disputes follow the governing law in the terms.
